Lazudi acquires real estate company PBRE

Bangkok-based online real estate agency Lazudi has acquired PBRE, a major Thailand-based real estate company, strengthening its position in the south-east Asian market.

“Together, we have become the No. 1 market leader in Pattaya,” said Mark Quinn (LinkedIn profile), former managing director of PBRE, who will join Lazudi as chief revenue officer.

At the end of 2021, Lazudi raised $2 million in funding from Sweden-based venture capital firm Proptech Farm, which it has since used to develop technology to simplify the home-buying and selling process.

Lazudi now provides a “customer-centric service combining both technical and innovative platforms with commercial and local expertise for a better and superior customer experience,” added Costa Savva, Lazudi CEO and co-founder.
